Tashkent moves to international standards of telephone numeration

TShTT, a branch of Uzbektelecom, said that within the planned transfer to international standard of numeration in Tashkent, works on changing principles of dialing numbers to make long-distance and international calls from fixed telephones will be carried out in Tashkent from 24 September to 1 October.

It added that after completion of the works, the subscribers can make long-distance calls via 0 instead of 8 and international calls via 00 instead of 8-10.
