Tashkent Metro to Operate on Special Schedule During New Year Holidays

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — To provide more convenient conditions for residents and visitors of the capital during the New Year holidays, the Tashkent Metro State Unitary Enterprise (Toshkent Metropoliteni) will implement temporary changes to train schedules.

On New Year’s Eve, to ensure safe and uninterrupted passenger movement, metro trains will operate continuously from 05:00 on 31 December 2025 until 01:00 on 1 January 2026.

During additional public holidays connected with the New Year celebrations, trains will run according to the following schedule:

31 December 2025 and 2 January 2026 — according to the Saturday timetable;

1 January 2026 — according to the Sunday timetable.

It is noted that 5 January 2026 (Monday) is a working day, and trains will operate according to the regular weekday schedule.

Tashkent Metro urges passengers to take the schedule changes into account and plan their trips in advance, observing the established metro operating hours.
