Tashkent Leads in Deposits of Individuals and Legal Entities
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As of 1 October 2025, the total volume of deposits in Uzbekistan’s banking system reached 371.5 trillion soums, according to the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Of this total, 144.1 trillion soums were deposits from individuals and 227.4 trillion soums from legal entities.
The largest share of deposits, both from individuals and legal entities, is concentrated in the capital. In Tashkent, total deposits amounted to 284.1 trillion soums, including 83.1 trillion soums from individuals and 200.9 trillion soums from legal entities.
Among the regions, the highest individual deposits were recorded in Samarkand region at 6.61 trillion soums, while the largest legal entity deposits were in Bukhara region at 8.06 trillion soums.
