Tashkent International Airport Served Nearly 10 Million Passengers in 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In 2025, Tashkent International Airport reaffirmed its status as the country’s largest aviation hub, handling 40,153 flights and 9,964,602 passengers, according to Uzbekistan Airports.

For comparison, in 2024 the airport serviced 34,789 flights and 8,725,521 passengers, reflecting a 14% increase in passenger traffic and a 15% rise in flight numbers.

The majority of traffic was on international routes, with the airport maintaining regular connections to countries in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the CIS, while domestic flights continued to see steady demand.

The growth was driven by the expansion of the route network, increased flight frequency, and overall enhanced passenger mobility, highlighting the sustained development of the transport infrastructure and Tashkent’s growing role as Uzbekistan’s primary gateway by air.
