Tashkent hosts seminar on national and international patent system
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Intellectual Property Agency of Uzbekistan and World Intellectual Property Organization are hosting a regional seminar “National and international patent system. Submission of applications and conducting patent procedures in electronic mode” on 17-18 May.
The seminar is aimed at familiarizing participants with activities of WIPO on developing intellectual property system in the countries with emerging economies, protection and use of patents, international patent system, etc.
They also discuss simplification of protection of patents in national patent system, introduction of electronic system of submitting, accepting and analyzing applications, etc.
Representatives of Russia, Korea, Japan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan are attending the event.
