Tashkent hosts meeting of German-Uzbek Business Council
Representatives of the business circles of Germany, including such companies and banks as TUI Group, Siemens, MAN, BASF, Nokia, SAP, Deutsche Bank and Commerzbank.
During the meeting, the German side was informed about creation of small industrial zone Algoritm in Tashkent and opportunity to transfer it to one of German companies. The Uzbek side also proposed to create the Uzbek-German Chamber of Commerce.
The business forum and cooperation exchange in B2B format was held in the Uzbek capital. Within the visit, Knuaf Gips in Bukhara opened new production capacities.
German-Uzbek Business Council was founded in 2015 and includes companies of two states. It promotes trade-economic and investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany.
