Tashkent host local stage of NGOs National Forum

It was organized by National Association of NGOs, Ministry of Justice, Uzbekistan Women’s Committee, Council of the Trade Unions’ Federation of Uzbekistan, Ecologic Movement of Uzbekistan and other bodies.

Representatives of the regional NGOs, local state bodies and administrations, political parties and mass media participated at the event.

The forum is aimed at consolidating NGOs, strengthening their role and importance in democratic processes of Uzbekistan, implementation of the state programmes, etc.

During the forum, the participants considered operation of the NGOs in Uzbekistan and in the region, their participation in realization of the state programmes, and other issues.

The participants of the forum also considered work of the NGOs and their work implementation of the projects, as well as demonstrated their products and services.

They also discussed interaction of the NGOs and the state bodies in implementation of the state programmes on social-economic development of the regions.

In the result of the forum, some 60 memorandums between the NGOs and the state bodies were signed.
