Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Acting governor of Tashkent Jahangir Artikhodjaev ordered to dismantle a clock tower, which was installed at the intersection of Mirabad and Shota Rustaveli streets in Tashkent (next to the Grand Mir hotel).

The Tashkent city administration said that large number of metal constructions installed in the capital city. The majority of them accepted well by the population, while some of them became controversial objects.

The clock tower near the Grand Mir Hotel become one of such controversial objects and it was quickly dismantled in line with the acting governor of Tashkent, Jahangir Artikhodjaev.

The press service of the khokimiyat said it follows comments of the social media users. Reception of constructive and timely proposals is also always open.
