Tashkent discuss draft law “On management of state property”

Representatives of the State Competition Committee, MPs of the Committee on budget and economic reforms of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis and business entities participated, the press service of the Uzbek committee said.

During the event, the participants considered a draft law “On management of state property”, which will be discussed at the lower house of the parliament in the second reading.

The document regulates issues related to management of the state property, its effective use, purchase of private property by the state, etc. It is directed at improving management of the state property management.

The draft law was developed based on experience of the legislative acts of France, Spain, Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Georgia.

The document envisages to limit jurisdiction of the state bodies, which manage the state property and improving their responsibility in the state property management.
