Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 25 February, the first deputy khokim of Tashkent, Davron Khidoyatov, met with Sergei Nuzhdin, the founder of the largest Russian company ECOLOS, which supplies equipment for wastewater treatment plants.

At the meeting, Sergei Nuzhdin proposed two options for cooperation: in the first, the EKOLOS will organize the production of equipment for wastewater treatment plants in Uzbekistan, in the second it is planned to give control over the wastewater treatment facilities as a public-private partnership with the EKOLOS.

Davron Khidoyatov thanked for the proposals, emphasized their relevance for the city and suggested starting cooperation to determine a specific framework for cooperation. Here, not only the terms and cost of the project are important, but also the quality of the equipment, the first deputy khokim emphasized.

The parties decided to create a working group to specify the tasks and develop a commercial proposal. The group should begin work soon.
