Tashkent city khokimiyat delegation discuss youth issues in St. Petersburg

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Tashkent khokimiyat visited the Committee on Youth Policy and Interaction with NGOs of St. Petersburg. This was reported by the press service of the Tashkent city administration.

In St. Petersburg, almost every fifth resident is a representative of the younger generation between the ages of 14 and 30. The city is the center of attraction for talented youth. Therefore, youth policy is an important area of activity for the city government, says the official website of the administration of St. Petersburg.

The Committee is the executive body of state power in St. Petersburg - a structural unit of the Government of St. Petersburg created to organize youth policy in the city and interact with 18 administrations of St. Petersburg districts.

At the meeting with the Uzbek delegation, the Committee discussed issues of cooperation and possible joint work.
