Tashkent city governor reverses its decision to demolish garages

The decision of the governor “On the improvement of structures for storage of automobiles and bringing them into conformity with the rules of urban development in the city of Tashkent” was adopted on 8 April 2013.

According to the decision, it was planned to demolish all private garages in Tashkent by the end of 2014 and construct modern parking sights.

The document said that the decision on abolishment of previous document was adopted after protest of the Prosecutor’s Office of Tashkent city from 31 December 2013.
