Tashkent Announces Spring Schedule for Water Outages

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 30 March to 13 May, temporary cold water shutdowns and pressure reductions are planned across Tashkent, the city’s water utility "Toshkent Shahar Suv Ta’minoti" announced. The measures are part of routine maintenance and preparation for the spring-summer period.

In areas where water supply will be interrupted, water trucks will be deployed to provide residents with drinking water.

The shutdowns and pressure reductions will occur in stages across multiple districts, including Uchtepa, Shayhantahur, Yashnabad, Mirzo-Ulugbek, Sergeli, Olmazar, Chilanzar, Yakkasaray, Yunusabad, Yangihayot, and Mirabad.

Affected areas include residential neighborhoods, educational institutions, medical facilities, and administrative buildings. Water supply will be fully restored after each stage according to the schedule published by the utility company.
