Tashkent and London Strengthen Ties in Industry, Energy and Digital Technologies

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 25 February, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting with UK Minister of State for Investment Lord Jason Stockwood in London.

During the talks, the parties discussed expanding bilateral cooperation in industry, energy, infrastructure, agriculture, critical minerals, healthcare, and digital technologies. Particular attention was paid to strengthening the pharmaceutical sector and developing medical services in Uzbekistan.

As an outcome of the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of medical services was signed, establishing a platform for deepening engagement and stimulating sustainable economic growth, as well as strengthening mutual ties between Uzbekistan and the United Kingdom.
