Tashkent and Brussels Agree on New Joint Economic Initiatives

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov met with European Commissioner for International Partnerships, Josep Sikele, the minister reported on his official channel.

The discussion focused on the current state and pace of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the European Union. Key topics included trade projects, the green transition, digitalization, transport and logistics connectivity, and human capital development.

Saidov emphasized that both Tashkent and Brussels are committed to expanding practical cooperation and implementing new mutually beneficial initiatives.

He also highlighted the readiness of both sides to strengthen strategic dialogue and advance sustainable development projects aimed at promoting regional stability and economic growth.
