Tashkent Airport Receives 30 Specialized Wheelchairs for Passengers with Reduced Mobility
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Tashkent Airport has received 30 specialized wheelchairs as part of a social initiative under the Memorandum of Cooperation between JSC Uzbekistan Airports and JSC Electronic Online Auctions Organization. The initiative aims to support citizens and enhance accessibility within airports.
The new wheelchairs will be available free of charge for passengers with limited mobility in the arrival and departure halls of the international terminal, as well as in the domestic flights terminal.
This initiative will make movement through the airport safer and more comfortable, improving service quality for passengers with reduced mobility.
"Creating an accessible and convenient environment for all passengers is one of our priority areas. Providing specialized wheelchairs is another step toward making travel safe and comfortable for everyone," the Uzbekistan Airports press service stated.
