Tashkent Airport introduce automated luggage scanning system

According to Uzbekistan Havo Yollari, the system was introduced to improve quality of services, provided to population.

The airline said that new system was launched in April 2016. The system allows to decrease time of issuing of luggage to passengers. Number of complaints passengers, related to loss of luggage and damage of luggage decreased.

Uzbekistan Havo Yollari said that the system was developed by local software producer. It was integrated to video surveillance system of airport and it allows to monitor the luggage in all stages.

Currently, the system is used for arriving flights and soon it planned to test it on departing flights.
