Tashabbus-2016 contest to be held in February-April

A contest among entrepreneurs, farmers and craftsmen for the prize of the President of Uzbekistan “Tashabbus-2016” will be held in three stages on 29 February to 6 April 2016.
According to the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, on 25 February 2016, the Government of Uzbekistan approved an order on holding Tashabbus-2016 contest.
The document said that Tashabbus-2016 contest will be held in three stages. District (city) stages of the contest will be held from 29 February to 6 March 2016.
The regional, Tashkent city and Karakalpakstan stages will take place from 9 March to 17 March 2016.
The Republican stage will be held on 24-25 March 2016. It is also planned to hold an awarding ceremony within the Tashabbus-2016 on 6 April 2016.
The contest is directed at developing small and private businesses in Uzbekistan and promoting achievements of local entrepreneurs.
