Tanzila Narbayeva re-elected as Chairman of the Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Deputy Prime Minister Tanzila Narbaeva was re-elected chairman of the Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan at a reporting and election committee conference on 22 December.

The reporting and election conference of the Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan was held in Tashkent. It summed up the activities of the committee over the past five years.

The conference identified the main priorities of the Women’s Committee and discussed organizational issues.

In particular, a new leadership of the Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan was elected. The report of the Audit Commission of the Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan was heard. A new edition of the Charter of the Committee was adopted.

By unanimous decision of the participants of the conference the Tanzila Narbaev was re-elected to the post of the chairman. She is elected for a term of five years.

Narbaeva has been holding this position since December 2016.
