Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 16 December 2019, the Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbaeva attended and spoke at the Takhsin (Recognition) award ceremony of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan.

As the Chairman of the Senate noted, the significant contribution and great merit of the youth, which became not only a witness, but also an active participant in the development and transformations taking place in the country.

Today there is every reason to say that in our country all conditions are created for a happy life for young people. Presidential schools, schools of creativity, schools of Temurbekov and other specialized educational institutions, dozens of new branches of universities of developed foreign countries, established in the regions, today have widely opened their doors to young people.

Within the framework of 5 important initiatives of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the state mobilizes the strengths and opportunities, available potential for educating the younger generation of healthy, educated, enlightened people, art lovers, who love books.

The Senate President wished success to energetic and active youth and noted the need to strive to preserve the highest human qualities, traditions inherited by our people, emphasizing that these qualities are truly worthy of admiration.

In accordance with the Program of comprehensive measures to improve the activities of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 17 July 2017, starting in 2017, a youth group of Uzbekistan receives such an award annually.
