Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbaeva gave an interview to media representatives in the framework of the round table on decent work in support of reforms in the capital, Dunyo news agency reported.
It reported that the International Labor Organization (ILO) submitted a report on ongoing work in our country to eradicate forced labor. According to the results of monitoring conducted by the Organization, a positive assessment was given to the work over the past year. It was noted that if facts of involving employees of budgetary organizations in forced labor, especially in agriculture, were previously observed, then over the past two years such cases have been completely eradicated. This was during a "round table" said the representative of the ILO.
The Senate head noted that the Decree of the President of the country adopted the Strategy for the Development of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2020 - 2030. Its main goal is the transformation of work in all directions and a complete transition to market mechanisms. It is envisaged that the cultivation of cotton, wheat or other agricultural products in the country will be carried out by the cluster method with the participation of entrepreneurs. The goal is to bring to the world markets products that meet international quality standards.
It was emphasized that now in this system there will be no concept of state order. Therefore, neither the khokimiyats nor other state bodies will be able to intervene in this process. Now, clusters, entrepreneurs will freely manage the entire process, from sowing cotton to manufacturing finished products.
