Talented youth in culture and arts receive support and encouragement
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The government has adopted a resolution titled “On Additional Measures to Support and Encourage Creative Youth,” aimed at fostering the development of talented young professionals in the fields of culture and arts.
According to the document, a unified platform will be introduced to coordinate the activities of creative youth, integrated into the broader management system known as “ERP Madaniyat.”
Additionally, a “Creative Tech Laboratory” will be established to apply artificial intelligence and modern technologies within the cultural sector. Educational institutions at the general and secondary specialized levels will organize “Creative Youth” clubs, and the public movement “Cultural Volunteers” will also be developed.
As part of youth support, at least four leading experts and renowned artists from various countries will be invited annually to participate in the educational process. Furthermore, a minimum of four young creatives will have opportunities to travel abroad for experience exchange.
Creative grants of up to 100 base calculation units will be allocated for start-up projects in the culture and arts sector.
Starting in 2026, based on an annual calendar plan approved by the Ministry of Culture, contests and festivals for youth will be regularly held.
