Tajikistan President Concludes State Visit to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The state visit of President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan to Uzbekistan has officially concluded.

During his stay, the heads of state held bilateral negotiations in a closed format, conducted the first session of the Supreme Interstate Council, and launched joint projects. A package of bilateral agreements was signed, formalizing key areas of cooperation between the two countries.

The final day of the visit continued in Bukhara, where the presidents toured the city’s historical monuments and visited an industrial enterprise showcasing the region’s development in light and textile industries.

Upon completing the official program, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev saw the distinguished guest off at Bukhara International Airport. Following this, Emomali Rahmon departed Bukhara and returned to Tashkent, formally concluding his state visit.
