Taekwondo athletes of Uzbekistan claim two medals of Asian Games

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Taekwondo athletes of Uzbekistan won two medals of the Asian Games in Indonesia.

In the category -67 kg Nigora Tursunkulova lost to South Korean Jandi Kim in the semifinal with a score of 4:14 and won a bronze medal.

Niyoz Pulatov in the category -58 kg defeated rivals from Chinese Taipei, Thailand and Iran reached the final.

In the decisive battle our athlete lost to South Korea’s Kim Tae-hoon, and became a silver medalist.

Currently, Uzbekistan won 6 medals, including 1 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals.
