Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As previously reported, the sixth plenary meeting of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the form of videoconferencing began today.
The session, chaired by Tanzila Narbaeva, Chairman of the Upper House of Parliament, is attended by 76 members of the Senate from central and territorial studios.
Also, the meeting is attended by members of the government from the central studio and studio in the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of some bodies, chairmen of committees of the Jokorga Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, standing commissions of regional and Tashkent city Kengashes of people’s deputies, members of the Youth Parliament and heads of territorial structures of relevant ministries and departments.
The Chairman of the Senate T. Narbayeva recalled the brave son of the Uzbek and Karakalpak people, the famous statesman and public figure, Hero of Uzbekistan, Chairman of the Jokorga Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Senator Musa Tajetdinovich Erniyazov.
“The death of this man was a great loss for the Senate,” said T. Narbayeva, Chairman of the upper house of parliament. - Because Musa Tajetdinovich, from the day of the formation of a bicameral parliament in our country, has been conducting effective work as Deputy Chairman of the Senate.
At the same time, thanks to his efforts, the appearance of cities and regions, auls of the Republic of Karakalpakstan has changed over the past time. Especially, at the new stage of our development, he did not spare his strength and energy in the impeccable execution in Karakalpakstan of the ideas and initiatives put forward by our President. This can be evidenced by the creative work carried out in Muynak. He also took care of mitigating the consequences of the Aral Sea disaster, improving the living conditions of the population.
Personally, during my work in public structures and my many years of work in the Government, as well as my activity in the Senate, I have repeatedly witnessed that Musa Tajetdinovich was an experienced and capable leader, a reasonable, balanced, devoted and caring person.
I think you, dear senators and participants in today’s meeting, as well as all the collegia that worked with Musa Tajetdinovich and his close associates, remember these qualities well.
Once again I express my deep condolences to the family members and relatives of Musa Yerniyazov, to the deputies of Jokorga Kenes and senators from Karakalpakstan, and to the entire Uzbek and Karakalpak people.
The blessed memory of Musa Yerniyazov will forever remain in the history of the Senate!
