The combine said it is implanting a project on organization of production of fasteners for mechanical engineering industry of Uzbekistan.
Representatives of SYTCO AG visited the Uzbek plant to hold negotiations and sign agreement on supply equipment within the above mentioned project.
The sides held technical consultations and analyzed technical issues related to implementation of the investment project.
The side signed a contract for the supply of technology and technological equipment with the performance of supervision of installation, commissioning and staff training.
The cost of the investment project is US$ 12 million. The project will be implemented in 2017-2018.
Uzbek Metallurgy Combine will allocate US$4 million to the project and attract US$8 million loans of banks.
The project will expand the range of products and will allow the plant to produce about one and a half thousand tons of fasteners for the machinery industry - bolts, nuts, washers, screws, etc.
