Syrdarya regions’ GRP grows by 8% in Jan-Jun

The production of industrial goods rose by 9.8%, consumer goods - 8.4%, agriculture products – 5.5%, investments into fixed capital – 6.1%, construction works – 7.5%, retail trade – 10.3% and service – 14.7%.

The volume of gross regional product per capita made up 1.7 million soums in January-June 2016, growing by 5.6% compared to the same period of 2015.

The region created 14,000 new jobs, of which 11,500 were created due to development of small and private businesses.

Number of joint ventures reached 68. Some 87 projects for 70.2 billion soums were implemented in this direction.
