Syrdarya Region Strengthens Investor Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Governor (hokim) of the Syrdarya region, Erkinjon Turdimov, held a meeting with representatives from Asaka Motors International and Yashil Ferma JV LLC.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed the current status and implementation pace of investment projects in the region, alongside issues regarding practical support for investors from local authorities.

Representatives of the companies reported that their projects are being implemented in stages, noting the favorable conditions and state support created for business operations. They also announced plans to launch new initiatives within the Syrdarya region in the near future.

The regional head emphasized that the key criterion for efficiency is the actual effectiveness of the projects. Among the top priorities mentioned were the creation of new jobs and increasing the value added to products.

The Governor noted that the regional administration is prepared to provide comprehensive assistance to investors within the framework of current legislation. At the same time, he stressed that speed and concrete results are essential for all ongoing initiatives.
