Syrdarya Delegation Advances Deals in Shenzhen

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from Uzbekistan’s Syrdarya region, led by Governor Erkinjon Turdimov, continued its visit to Shenzhen with a series of practical negotiations and business meetings with Chinese companies.

A key highlight of the visit was the trade, economic and investment forum “Syrdarya — Shenzhen,” which brought together more than 400 Chinese companies, around 50 representatives of the Syrdarya region’s business community, and officials from the province.

The forum served as a platform to expand partnerships and launch new joint initiatives.

During a roundtable with executives of leading corporations, participants discussed prospects for cooperation in manufacturing, logistics, and innovative technologies.

Representatives of companies including Fufeng Electronic Technology, Shenzhen Guangsheng Sports, Donghua Electronic Technology, Aimeite Electric, Dongwan Libao Resin, Beiyujun Intelligent Technology, Shenzhen Yuchuan Group, Kaisbo Elevator, Qingyuan Xuerui, and Shenzhen Haiduo Logistics took part in the discussions.

In separate meetings with industrial and technology companies, the sides reviewed specific proposals for developing modern manufacturing and industrial infrastructure, as well as water supply systems. Several companies confirmed their readiness to visit the region to explore projects in detail on-site.

Following the talks, agreements were reached on implementing joint projects in fisheries and electrical engineering.

The visit is focused on achieving practical outcomes and is expected to contribute to further growth in the investment potential of the Syrdarya region.
