Syrdarya Auto Plant Produces Hyundai, ShineRay, and Exceed Models, Preparing for Full-Cycle Expansion

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The industrial sector in Uzbekistan’s Syrdarya region is experiencing rapid growth, particularly in automobile manufacturing, regional sources report. Uzbekiston 24 reports that the new enterprise in Syrdarya district has successfully completed the first stage of its project to produce modern vehicles based on international experience and advanced technologies.

The plant has an annual production capacity of 20–25 thousand vehicles of various models and has created over 200 jobs.

The factory has established partnerships with foreign companies, incorporating models from China’s Exceed, Hyundai Motors of South Korea, as well as the N111 from a major Chinese manufacturer and ShineRay models T30, T32, and X30.

Among the latest additions is the Bullion minibus, with a production capacity of 1–1.5 thousand units per month.

The project is being implemented in two phases: the first phase, with an investment of US$50 million, is complete, while the second phase has already begun. In the free economic zone, a full-cycle plant with welding, painting, and assembly workshops is under construction.

Starting from July 2026, the second phase is expected to attract US$120 million in investments and produce vehicles under the Shinrai, Bullion, Hyundai, and Opel brands.

Company representatives emphasize the project’s regional significance: it boosts industrial output, creates employment opportunities, develops local workforce potential, and strengthens the investment appeal of the region. Employees highlight a cohesive team and adherence to quality standards at all stages of production.

Demand for the vehicles is expected to grow both domestically and in export markets.
