A solemn ceremony of laying wreaths at the grave of Soviet soldiers who died when escaping from Nazi captivity in Germany and buried in Switzerland was held at the "Honor Walk" in the Hernley cemetery.

Heads and employees of diplomatic missions of the CIS countries came to pay tribute to the fallen, and in their person to the millions of victims of Nazism.

During the event, a huge contribution of the Uzbek people to the overall victory over fascism was noted.

With special respect, information was received on the Museum of Glory created in the Victory Park of Uzbekistan, which was opened today by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
