Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Swiss company Bartholet has proposed the construction of cable car systems in Namangan Region.

A delegation led by CEO Markus Menzi visited the region to present project proposals for the installation of modern cable car facilities.

Shavkatjon Abdurazzokov, Hokim of Namangan Region, met with the company representatives. During the discussions, the construction of cable cars in the Kamchik Pass and Arashan Lake areas was considered, with the application of innovative design solutions.

Markus Menzi emphasized that the visit aimed to explore the region’s potential for future tourism and infrastructure projects, highlighting the importance of firsthand assessment of the country’s and region’s opportunities.

Currently, foreign specialists are inspecting the proposed construction sites and evaluating the feasibility of project implementation.

Bartholet is a renowned Swiss company specializing in the design, manufacture, installation, and maintenance of cable cars, gondolas, and specialized mechanical transport systems, implementing turnkey projects in accordance with international safety standards and sustainable development principles.
