Svetlana Osipova become vice-champion of the world

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbek taekwondo athlete Svetlana Osipova won a silver medal in the +73 kg weight category at the World Championships in Baku. 

In the decisive match, our compatriot lost to Turkish Nafiya Kush with a score of 1:2 and won a silver medal.

It is worth noting that until that time, not a single taekwondo athlete in Uzbek sports reached the finals of the world championships twice in a row. 

Thanks to this result, Osipova further strengthens her place in the world and Olympic ratings of the strongest taekwondo athletes in the weight of +73 kg.
