Subregional coordinator of UN FAO visits Uzbekistan

During the talks, the sides discussed current state and perspectives of developing relations between Uzbekistan and the UN FAO. It was noted that Uzbekistan joined the organization in 2001 and carried out several projects to raise export potential of Uzbekistan in agriculture sector, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.

At the meeting, it was underlined mutual interest in further expanding of cooperation through implementation of mutual beneficial projects and programme directed at introduction of advanced international experience in innovation development of the agriculture sector in Uzbekistan.
