Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Students are given the opportunity to pay the contract in equal shares at least 4 times during the academic year.

In accordance with the presidential decree:

- Until the end of 2020, the level of enrollment in preschool education will be increased to 60 percent with the introduction of a system of preparing children at the age of 6 for school;

- starting from September 1, 2020, in certain general educational institutions, information systems of electronic e-learning of children with school subjects with the abolition of paper documentation are being introduced as an experiment;

- starting from the academic year 2020/2021:

- the load of school teachers will be optimized, the number of subjects in higher education institutions, not related to the main specialization will be halved;

- the quota of the state order for admission to study at higher education institutions of Uzbekistan on the basis of a state grant will be gradually increased by 2 times;

- Students of higher education institutions of the republic are given the opportunity to pay for training in equal shares at least four times during the academic year;

- in 2020, 5 higher education institutions selected on a competitive basis will be transformed in cooperation with prestigious foreign higher educational institutions;

- In 2020, fundamental and applied research will be activated in such areas as mathematics, chemistry, biology and geology.
