Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Students of schools of the Agency for the Development of Presidential, Creative and Specialized Schools under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan will have the opportunity to use the electronic educational programs of SixClouds Pte Ltd (Singapore).
The Agency and SixClouds Pte Ltd (Singapore) are working on the issue of signing a memorandum of understanding for the further use of SixClouds English programs and a mathematics training program in presidential and specialized schools that are part of the Agency’s fifth through eighth grades.
Joint efforts in this area will contribute to more effective teaching of the English language and mathematics, and the creation of critical thinking opportunities among school students.
The parties’ plans include, among other things, the work on introducing the first of its kind tool for additional training and testing, using SixClouds animation programs, in order to increase the level of knowledge and assessment of students in English and mathematics.
The memorandum of understanding covers the following areas:
The use of curricula as a tool for assessing the level of knowledge of students in English and mathematics.
Optimization of additional study of English and mathematics by providing students and school teachers with access to SixClouds programs.
Organization of cooperation between the parties for 5 years.
The Agency highly appreciates the possibilities of the digitized educational platforms SixClouds in achieving the set educational goals, especially within the framework of the programs intended for use in mathematics.
The SixClouds Mathematics program is based on a math curriculum in Singapore and has been developed by former faculty at the Singapore Department of Education. The Singapore Mathematical Model has gained worldwide recognition as an effective tool in the field of teaching mathematics. Singapore annually takes the top positions in the PISA ranking for several years in a row.
The parties are making efforts to support the development of education, with the aim of educating a new generation of critically thinking students, using modern advanced technologies.
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding will take place at the Tashkent International Investment Forum on 5-6 March 2020.
The Agency’s system includes 4 Presidential schools, 9 creative and 3 specialized schools. In 2020-2021, another 10 Presidential schools will be opened in the regions of Uzbekistan. Two creative schools will also start functioning this year.
