Student from Uzbekistan wins the All-Russian Information Olympiad

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Student of the Branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University) named after Gubkin in Tashkent, David Ashirov became the absolute winner of the X All-Russian (with international participation) student interdisciplinary Olympiad in Yoshkar-Ola (Russian Federation).

The jubilee tenth All-Russian student interdisciplinary Internet Olympiad of an innovative nature “Information Technologies in Complex Systems” was held on the basis of the Volga State Technological University - in the framework of cooperation with the National Fund for the Support of Innovation in Education.

In the final round, Uzbek David Ashirov scored the maximum number of points among 82 students from 36 universities and branches of universities of the Russian Federation and other countries of near and far abroad.

To complete tasks on two types of complex systems - “complex technical systems” and “complex socio-economic systems” - the finalists needed not only brilliant knowledge of physics, mathematics, computer science, but also the ability to find innovative solutions.

The members of the authoritative jury - leading scientists and educators of the Russian Federation - determined the best of the best by the sum of the results in the profiles, and here a student of the Branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas named after Gubkin in the city of Tashkent, David Ashirov became the absolute winner of international student competitions. Another achievement of the Branch is the sixth place in the direction of “Complex socio-economic systems”, which Gavkhar Akhmedjanova won.

The Olympiad was held in a warm, friendly atmosphere of intense intellectual struggle, during the award ceremony warm words were addressed to the organizers of the innovative tournament. The best students were awarded diplomas, cups and medals of various denominations, and they were also awarded special prizes from partners of the Olympiad: the National Center for Social and Professional Accreditation and the Research Institute for Monitoring the Quality of Education.

The Organizing Committee of the Open International Student Internet Olympiads also expressed gratitude to the activists of the Olympiad movement: team leaders who from year to year, for many years, prepare and accompany students to their universities for the final. They were given letters of appreciation and valuable gifts.
