STC recommends employers to increase staff salaries

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan recommended employers to increase employees’ salaries.

“You can raise salaries at the expense of funds released due to a reduction in the tax burden, including a reduction in the unified social payment. This recommendation is contained in the presidential resolution of 26 December, "- stated in the message of the GNC.

In 2019, the single tax payment rate for state-financed organizations and state-owned enterprises, legal entities with a state share in the authorized capital of 50% and their structural divisions was kept at 25%, while for the rest of the payers, the single tax payment was reduced from 15% to 12%.
