Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The Presidential resolution “On Priority Measures to Improve the Financial Stability of the Oil and Gas Industry” was adopted.

In accordance with the resolution, a Road Map will be developed to improve the operational efficiency of oil and gas enterprises.

At all enterprises of the oil and gas industry, an anti-corruption system of compliance control will be introduced.

Proposals will be developed on hiring highly qualified foreign experts and specialists, including compatriots abroad, at oil and gas enterprises.

Licensing of activities in the oil and gas industry will be improved and simplified.

The state's share in the authorized capital of JSC Uzbekneftegaz and JSC Uzkimyosanoat will be increased.

Starting from 1 May 2020, state regulation of the retail prices of AI-80 motor gasoline and diesel fuel (including the ECO brand) is canceled. Oil refineries will sold AI-80 gasoline and diesel fuel exclusively through exchange trading.
