State Registration of Wild Plant Nurseries to Be Improved
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Government of Uzbekistan has approved a resolution “On Improving the Procedure for State Registration of Nurseries and Plantations for Growing Wild Plants.”
The document establishes that verification of actual planting of wild plant seeds, as well as state registration of nurseries and plantations, will be conducted through the Unified Portal of Interactive State Services (EPIGU) and Centers for Public Services.
Nurseries and plantations are established on the lands of plant growers, who can confirm the planting of seeds by applying to a Public Services Center or via the portal my.gov.uz.
Applications must include a permit for special use of plant resources, authorization for the import and export of wild plants and their parts, a notification of the nursery or plantation’s registration in the relevant State Registry, and a supply agreement for the planting material.
The authorized body reviews applications within five working days and carries out the state registration of the nursery or plantation in the Registry.
The resolution aims to simplify registration procedures and enhance transparency in the cultivation of wild plants.
