The memorandum was signed on 27 April 2017 in the city of Samarkand within the framework of the Regional Forum “Expansion of fruit and vegetable exports and competition”, service of the State Committee on Competition said in a statement.

The parties agreed to cooperate in such areas as exchange of experience in the field of handling cases of violations of the antimonopoly legislation, exchange of information on legislation and enforcement in the field of competition policy and state of commodity markets, exchange of experience and methods of staff development and in the field of advocacy of competition, etc.

The sides are planning to cooperate within international organizations in the field of competitive policy, including within the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, the International Competitive Network.
