Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Starting from 8 June, public transport in the “yellow” and “green” zones will resume their operation.

At the first stage, in the “yellow” and “green” quarantine zones, buses of city (district) and suburban routes will go on line. Damas cars, minibuses and the subway will not work yet. The corresponding decision was made by the Special Republican Commission.

Public transport "returns" with strict observance of the following requirements:

- the transport company carries out a complete disinfection of the vehicle before each flight and at the final stop, as well as at the central bus stations;

- drivers are provided with medical masks, gloves and must change them in a timely and regular manner;

- only passengers in a medical mask are allowed into the bus.

Responsible officers of the Ministry of Transport will monitor compliance with these requirements. Passengers must strictly comply with quarantine requirements and maintain social distance. Violation of quarantine requirements in public transport entails administrative liability.
