Starting from 12 October, Bus Route No. 197 to Connect Downtown Tashkent with New Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Beginning from 12 October, a new bus route No. 197 will start operating in Tashkent, linking the city center with New Tashkent.

According to the Main Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development, buses will run from 05:30 to 22:50, departing from the “Hotel Uzbekistan” stop and terminating at “New Tashkent.”

Eight modern Yutong mid-size buses, 9.5 meters long and painted white, will be deployed on the route.

The department emphasized that the launch of this route aims to improve transport connectivity between the capital and suburban areas, reduce road congestion, and enhance passenger comfort and safety.
