Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekneftegaz jointly with Zarubezhneft (Russia) have started a process of studying the possibilities of increasing hydrocarbon production at long-term deposits in Uzbekistan. This was reported by the press service of Uzbekneftegaz.
With this purpose in the period of 27-30 August, the delegation of Zarubezhneft (on geology, geophysics and development of deposits) in cooperation with Uzbek specialists studied the possibility of increasing oil production at Khartoum, Boston, South Alamyshik, Namangan, Tergachi and Shorbulak.
In particular, joint work was carried out on the ground in order to select materials for further analysis.
In the process of studying, various technologies are considered, among them the descent of electric centrifugal pumps and improvement of the efficiency of repair work at the wells.
This cooperation is carried out in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding on exploring the possibility of cooperation in the oil and gas sector between Uzbekneftegaz and Zarubezhneft, which was signed on 30 June 2018. According to the document, the parties established a joint working group and launched joint research with the participation of specialists from the two companies.
