Special Representative of Presidents holds talks with US envoy

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 18 July 2018, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States Pamela Spratlen.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the sides discussed practical aspects of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the U.S. in the context of the implementation of the Tashkent Declaration adopted following the results of the international conference on Afghanistan on 27 March 2018.

At the meeting, other issues on Uzbekistan – American agenda were also considered.
