Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 11 June, during the Qora dori-2020 event, officers of the police and the State Security Department of Kasansai district of Namangan region in the presence of witnesses examined the house of a resident of this region, on the site of which three bushes of a narcotic plant were found grown in flower pots and three in plastic boxes, the press service of the Internal Affairs Directorate of Namangan region reports.
In addition, a drug-like substance wrapped in two separate cellophane bags was taken from the pocket of the citizen’s trousers. The seized substance was sent for examination to the district police department.
According to the conclusion, the seized six bushes of the plant are cannabis, containing the psychoactive substance tetrohydrocannabinol, and the substance, wrapped in two cellophane bags, weighing 0.34 g. is a hash.
On this fact, the Investigative Department at the Internal Affairs Directorate of Kasansay district opened a criminal case under part 1 of Art. 270 and h. 1 Article 270 of the Criminal Code.
