Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Decree of the President “On additional measures to improve the anti-corruption system in the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted.
According to the Decree, the staffing of the Agency is carried out on a competitive basis in the manner determined by the Agency in accordance with international standards.
In 2020–2021, a system of internal anti-corruption control (“compliance control”) will be phased in in all bodies of state and economic administration.
The decree introduces the following:
electronic platform “E-Anticor.uz”, which allows monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of public authorities and management in the fight against corruption, as well as state and other programs in this area;
special mobile software to inform the Agency of corruption.
The National Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Combating Corruption and its territorial councils have been formed.
