Special envoy of Switzerland pays visit to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting with the Special Representative of the Swiss Confederation on issues of water cooperation Wilhelm Mayer was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan on 17 February 2014.

The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said that the sides exchanged opinion on actual issues of the Uzbek-Swiss cooperation in water-ecology spheres.

The sides also considered practical aspects of cooperation between Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and International Fund for Saving Aral Sea within the presidency of Uzbekistan in this organization.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Swiss Confederation to Uzbekistan Nicolas Brühl participated at the meeting.
