South Ural, Uzbek businesses hold negotiations

About 50 companies of South Ural, working in various spheres, participated in the meeting with the businesses of Namangan region.

President of South Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry Fedor Degtyarov said that the business entities of two states work on opening assembly of tractors in Uzbekistan and supply of radio-navigation equipment for Tashkent Airport. Besides, six enterprises of Chelyabinsk region plan to provide green technologies in the sphere of energy to Uzbekistan.

Governor of Namangan region Hayrullo Bozarov said that Russia and Uzbekistan have great perspective of cooperation with participation both large and small enterprises.

According to him, the Uzbek companies want to cooperate with South Ural businesses to increase foreign trade turnover, attract investments, and conduct joint business projects.

Governor presented opportunities of Namangan region and said the region is interested in organizing exports of textile products, fruits and vegetables to the region. The Uzbek side is also interested in creating joint enterprises in the sphere of machinery and metallurgy.

It was noted that tourism is another perspective directions of cooperation between two regions.
