South Korean Pharmaceutical Companies Show Interest in Expanding Production in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During an official working visit to South Korea, Abdullah Azizov, Director of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry of Uzbekistan, held negotiations with leading South Korean pharmaceutical companies, including Daehan Pharm, Kunil Pharm, Corepharm, JW Holdings, MetaOnTech, Sungsim Eng, and Firson.
Following the meetings, Daehan Pharm and JW Holdings expressed interest in expanding their operations in Uzbekistan.
Specifically, within the framework of the Tashkent Pharma Park pharmaceutical cluster, the possibility of establishing production for infusion solutions, injectable drugs, and cosmetic products is being considered. Negotiations on this initiative will continue in due course.
In addition, Sungsim Eng requested assistance in finding local partners and practical support for exporting its products to Uzbekistan, reflecting the growing interest of South Korean companies in cooperation with the Uzbek pharmaceutical market.
